Maylands Waterpark, City of Bayswater - Cement Sculpted Playground

Josh Burns Associates commissioned Sublime Stone Solutions to contribute to the Maylands Waterlands revitalization project for the City of Bayswater. The overall design of the project, including artworks and custom play elements, was inspired by the local flora and fauna of the Maylands wetlands.

We were tasked with delivering a large motorbike frog water-emitting sculpture, water-emitting frog egg sculptures, a waterfall, a concrete fallen tree sculpture that emits water, and a carved concrete timber bridge that spans the scrambling boulders, connecting the upper and lower splash pads.

It was a delight to hear the joy of the children on opening day.
